DESCRIPTION:Introducing the Optimist High-Performance Clinic\, a unique opportunity for young sailors in full-time education to maximise their sailing potential during the summer school holidays. \nOverview:\nJoin SailCoach’s Optimist High-Performance Clinic\, specially designed to provide quality sailing time for Optimist sailors during school holidays. Led by experienced coaches renowned for their ability to inspire and prepare young sailors\, this clinic takes place at our Valencia SailBase\, offering optimal sailing conditions year-round. With top of the range Winner Optimists and specialised coaching\, participants will gain valuable hours on the water to enhance their speed and sailing techniques. \nObjectives:\nWe understand that high performance comes from dedicated hours on the water. Our clinic aims to provide precisely that\, with expert coaches guiding sailors to become smarter and faster Optimist sailors. Through on the water drills to improve boat handling\, focused racing training to enhance race strategy\, video analysis with targeted feedback\, and engaging learning experiences\, we’ll equip participants with the skills and knowledge to excel. \nPre-Entry Experience:\nThis clinic is tailored for boys and girls aged 8 to 15 who have been racing for at least two years and are ready to embark on international competition or enhance their sailing skills for success on their national circuit. \nThe Program: \n27th of August 2023 (arrival day)\nArrive on the 27th of August\, and our friendly staff will greet you at Valencia Airport and assist with transportation to our Valencia SailBase. \n28th to the 1st of September 2023 (clinic days)\nFrom the 28th of August to the 1st of September\, each day of the Optimist High-Performance Clinic will feature a group briefing at 10:00 hrs in the Club Nàutico dinghy section\, followed by comprehensive training activities until 17:30 hrs. \n2nd of September 2023 (departure day)\nOn the 2nd of September\, our staff will ensure your safe return to Valencia Airport. \nBooking Information:\nWe offer a comprehensive package price to participate in the Optimist High-Performance Clinic at our Valencia SailBase\, located at the Club Nàutico dinghy section\, València\, from the 27th of August to the 2nd of September 2023. This includes airport transfers on designated arrival and departure dates from Valencia Airport\, our world-class coaching\, fitness training\, and charter Optimist. Additional expenses to consider are flights\, accommodation\, lunchtime meals\, and pocket money. \nPlease Note: We provide free airport transfers on designated days\, and transfers outside these days and times may incur a fee of approximately €20 for city centre hotels by airport taxis. \nJoin us at the Optimist High-Performance Clinic\, and let us help your young sailor become a better Optimist sailor.

SUMMARY:Birzebbuga Regatta
DESCRIPTION:Birzebbuga Carnival Regatta has become a regular fixture for many sailors looking for a warm weather venue with good race management in the winter months. The regatta caters for Optimists and all the ILCA Dinghy classes\, making it ideal for families with children in the different classes. SailCoach has been attending regattas for over 27 years therefore\, we have the expertise to give our students an excellent learning experience. The 2023 Birzebbuga Carnival Regatta Coaching Tour is between the 8th (arrival day) and the 13th of February 2023 (departure day). The regatta dates are the 9th to the 12th of February\, 2023. The host club is Birzebbuga Sailing Club\, and entries should be made through their website. 8th February 2023 Arrive at Malta Airport (MLA) and be met by a member of SailCoach’s friendly coaching staff\, where you will be taken to Birzebbuga in the south of the island where the regatta is being held. 9th to 12th February 2023 Racing begins in the Birzebbuga Carnival Regatta in what promises to be a competitive event. A good week here will give you bags of confidence and the experience to compete at any other European regatta.
